CERAMIC BASED OBJECTS
The intention of my ceramic objects is to combine ceramics of simple archaic forms with other materials. These materials - metal and wood - underline the archaic impression, sometimes supplemented by smoke fired surfaces. Also, the objects themselves are archetypes of movement and of existence.
My objects go far beyond the original intention of ceramics. But my aesthetical understanding does not see any contradiction to ceramic traditions. I wish to show the harmony of materials, and the possibilities of extending the meaning of ceramic sculpture.

Objekte aus Keramik, Holz, Metall und anderen Materialien bannen unter Verwendung von Urmotiven wie Boot, Gefäß oder Samenformen ihre prinzipiellen Motive von Bewegung, Wasser und Luft zu Kompositionen formaler Schlichtheit und tastbarer Sinnlichkeit.
Der Betrachter wird mit Archetypen menschlichen Empfindens konfrontiert, die aus der eigenen Verschüttung zu holen und in sein Jetzt zu interpretieren einen Prozess intensiver Auseinandersetzung erfordert.
